Overall Site Design

The overall site design is what is visible on every page of a website. It includes the design, layout, and the site navigation, which are all consistent throughout the site. Please note that the included estimates don’t apply for full Flash websites; these will be priced on an individual basis.

Wordpress-based Site (content managed): $500-1030
The most affordable solution to get a good-looking website that you can update yourself.

Pro Site: $1,540-3,850
Fairly complex websites, usually involving some dynamic content, and often more elaborate graphics. Navigation can be JavaScript, Flash, or CSS. Ecommerce with dynamic shopping cart may be included.

Enhanced: $3850+
Custom code and advanced features.

Page Design

Page prices apply to special types of pages that sites often require. Dynamic, or generically-created pages are priced differently.

Form-based Page: $190-320
Contact, inquiry, non-shopping cart order form, etc.

Industry-specific Page: $130-320
Added graphics, columns, or a more complex layout than the generic page.

Enhanced Page: $320+
This includes splash pages, uniquely-designed homepages with special enhancements, etc.

Logo Flavors

There are three basic kinds of logos:
Graphical: Symbolic or literal graphic combined with your organization’s name.
Logotype/Text: Typographical elements only (your business name), developed into a design.
Illustrated: An illustration that expresses your organization’s branding goals.

Preparations

Before you hire us (or any other design group), you should determine your organization’s attitude, vision and goal. Your logo should reflect these elements. Look for example logos that you like and don’t like and try to identify the relevant elements of each.

Logo Terms

Logotype: Either a logo that consists entirely of typographical elements, or the portion of the logo that is created using typography. Most often logotypes are combined with a logomark to create a complete corporate logo.

Logomark: The graphic symbol, image, or illustration that accompanies a logotype.

Print Ad, or Poster Design

Small Ad/Poster: $410-770
Examples: 8″ x 11″, 11″ x 14″, 11″ x 16″, European A4 & A3 format, etc.

Medium Ad/Poster: $770-1,930
For example, 20″ x 40″, European A2 format etc.

Large Ad/Poster: $1,160+
For example, 60″ x 90″, European A1+, etc.

Brochure Design

6 panel (tri-fold) brochure: $400-800

4 panel brochure: $250-450

Stationary Design

Business Card Design: $190-450
